I oppose Mountainside's application to operate a commercial, for profit facility in a residential zone. This was not why we moved from the city to our beautiful Ridgefield. Thank you

Changing residential zoning laws to accommodate commercial profit sets a very ugly and scary precedent! It negatively effects surrounding home values, traffic, and municipalities.

Businesses do not belong in residential neighborhoods. No special permit or zoning changes should be granted to Mountainside.

I am writing to formally express my strong opposition to the Mountainside's application for a zoning amendment and special permit to operate in this residential neighborhood. As someone who recently moved into the neighborhood 4 months ago, I say confidently that our decision to relocate here would have been different had a commercial property of this nature been within our residential zone. While these facilities are important to any community, they should be appropriately placed within a commercial setting. I only hope the town can agree and keep the residential zoning as it is. Thanks, Brian

The rules have been put in place for a reason. A rule change, that affects so many households at the core as this one does, should be made only by the community itself. It's very clear the community does not want this facility to consume residential property. If it's pushed through due to state level pressure or corporate financing maneuvers I would expect a public uproar.

This facility does not belong in a residential neighborhood. Nor should ridgefield redone the neighborhood.

I do not feel this should be allowed in any residential area of Ridgefield.

Move the treatment center to the center of town.

Please count as 2 signatures, as my wife Barbara is in agreement. We cannot believe this zoning change is even being discussed, it is so obviously wrong.

Not in our neighborhood not in your neighborhood. This Drug Rehab idea on Old West Mountain Road in a residential area of Ridgefield is Wong on every level. Corporate Profiting at the expense of residents who live in this Ridgefield neighborhood is Un-American and goes against everything this town stands for.

This is a critical situation that will effect the safety of our community. Ask all your neighbors to attend.
