Rezoning on Ebenezer to JoAnn, tlee, Bob, Lisa, Bob, David April 12, 2016 Dear Commissioner Birrell, Just want to put my 2 cents in and voice my opposition to the proposed rezoning on Ebenezer Road. Believe that a developer has proposed rezoning 15 acres on Ebenezer Road from R-20 to RSL. He wants to build 76 houses on the 15 acres of land. I am personally against all new home construction until the traffic problem in Cobb is somewhat relieved and a plan is put in place to resolve this unacceptable traffic mess. However, new homes that have been recently built are quite appealing. Now the BOC is considering allowing the construction of 5 homes per acre. While I have not kept up with new methods of construction it is my belief that these houses would be one on top of another. No green space. Also, what about the roads? What is the right of way to be in feet from the center of the roads or from the curb? What about parking? Will fire trucks be able to turn around? Has consideration been given to storm runoff? Could go on but you get the idea. I am thoroughly confused as to why such a rezoning would even be considered! Hope to get enlightened with some good responses. Thanks much, Bob Robert F Roth 2913 Timberline Road Marietta, GA 30062

Too many homes on that small a plot of land. I do not want to see that many homes allowed on just 15 acres of land.

A very busy road at rush hour already, inappropriate zoning for this area and density should be held to what we have in this area already. Single Family homes that attract new families would be ideal. The developer is doing this solely for profit margins, not because he wants what is best for our community.

Please don't tear down more beautiful green space just to build another subdivision. Traffic is already terrible in this area and all of these ticky tacky subdivisions are ruining our quality of life.

I live in East Cobb, the green space is dwindling which will reduce property values.

Please keep the existing plan in place.. We do not want our property values to plummet due to over crowded subdivisions in east Cobb.
