I own a home in Hampton Oaks and Heritage Farms. I oppose this rezoning because of the increase of traffic on this 2 lane road. I am concerned about loosing the green space and creating runoff issues for our neighborhood, Heritage Farms. A better suited location would be the land/development behind Burger King and Zaxby's on Sandy Plains Road which is truly an eyesore. There is plenty of space and Sandy Plains Road can handle the traffic. The proposed land should remain R-20.

Can this not go behind Zaxby's /Burger King on sandy plains? talk about eyesore that needs to be redone!

No to Re-zoning Ebenezer Rd, This is such a beautiful section of land. I agree with others, why not pursue other crumbling , eye-sores in Marietta, then demolishing such a priceless piece of green space.

NO TO REZONING this section of Ebenzer Rd. This is ONE stretch of road that is still beautiful in our community. Keep it green. Why not pursue the clean up needed in old shopping center on Sandy Plains near Post Oak Tritt behind Zaxby's?

We beg the commission to please reconsider the high density residences you are proposing in the 15 acres. Before I can remember, many of my ancestors lived and farmed much of the land on Ebenezer Road. I remember my great~grandparents' home in the mid-1950s. We are blessed to currently live in my grandparents' home they built in 1951. To me, Ebenezer Road, from Canton Road to Sandy Plains Road, is sacred property to be preserved and respected for future generations. I can remember many of the homes and the subdivisions being built. We have seen the price of the homes continue to rise. Who would have ever thought that homes on Ebenezer would ever be listed for sale more than $300k? I cannot imagine the high prices for homes in the high density area.
Please reconsider our request to not rezonr the 15 acres. Many of our lifetime residents would like to call Ebenezer our "home place" for many more years.
