Petition to oppose the Planned Unit Development-Conditional Zoning District (PUD-CZ) at the intersection of Laura Duncan and N. Salem St. in Apex, NC

I saw no. Too much traffic already and people don't follow any of the pedestrian laws. I would prefer to see a dark park or a nice green space for family to enjoy. We don't need more apartments in this area.

Affordable housing will reduce property values and introduce a plethora of issues into our fair city. I have seen this in the past. Welcome to Portland

Let’s slow it down and take a breath. We’ve lived in Cary 31 years and are selling this spring to head to Chatham county. Against our wishes but enough already.

This is nightmare proposed development. I am living at 823 Bay Bouquet Ln, Apex 27523 and we alreday have big traffic issue due to rail road crossing, school etc. and now you are proposing this which will increase traffic more which is ridiculous.

I do not want the rezoning to occur in my neighborhood, especially not a multi-family housing community which will bring more traffic to an already saturated area and possibly more crime.

I do not want the building in that location.

Schools in Wake County already don’t have room for current residents & quality of living is not good with people jammed in like sardines so they can make a profit here. No construction without space in schools, infrastructure paid for by developers, and decent yards and play areas for children! Not fair!

No to this affordable housing in Apex

There is already way too much traffic. Added traffic will produce not only traffic backups but also many accidents & possible people being killed.

Increased flooding along the backside of houses on the odd-side of Lost Tree Lane due to increased water runoff and usage is also a major concern of mine and my neighbors.

My house is in an area that tends to flood due to the creek running along my fence that has been growing continuously since the retention pond that used to help with management of the extra water was also filled to build a new neighborhood. The creek is now eating away at my property and becoming a hazard to small children. It will get significantly worse with the building of this apartment complex.

Let's not only think about the traffic. Think about the home values. There is nothing like this in the area for apex that isn't part of a commercial complex that was planned for mixed use and already commercial property. i.e. costco. you are putting a "high rise" apartment cube in the middle of a residential neighborhood and thus will tank their home values. That land should go to single family homes.

It would create a traffic nightmare. There is a large apartment complex at US 64 and Lake Pine. So less than 3 miles from where this proposed apartment complex will be. We have a storage business on this corner. We need storage businesses!
