As a resident of the Fairfield Farms subdivision, I a very much oppossed to the proposed Dollar General store and storage units being built at US 33 & CR 31

Where are the workers coming from to keep this store open? The Dollar General stores nearby are closing early because there is no one to work!

No Dollar General!

I live right across the street from the proposed DG location. This seems like a spectacularly bad idea. With the school across the Highway this is going to create chaos with safety for walking students and for traffic flow. We are not in favor.

The traffic at the intersection of CR 42 and US 33 as well as CR 31 and US 33 is already congested and hazardous especially during school hours. Adding to that by the proposed project only adds to that traffic and potential traffic hazard as well as introducing more through traffic through the residential area where there are no sidewalks so the roads are where people walk in our community. The proposed project also seems an unfair inconvenience and possible safety issue for those who live in close vicinity to that area. I encourage your consideration of these concerns.

I am against putting anything at the intersection of County Rd 31 and Highway 33 until something is done to deal with the traffic, such as as turning lanes, turn arrows and cross walks or crossing guards for the kids from Fairfield High School to cross safely. The traffic is terribly congested in the mornings and evenings getting kids to and from kids Fairfield HS. My vote is no to adding anything at that intersection.

This is a bad idea if you care about safety, the Semi's and traffic that will be using neighborhood roads where kids from the school and neighborhood are playing is begging for a disaster.

This county already has MULTIPLE Dollar General stores. We do not need any more.

There is absolutely no need for a DG at this location. The intersection is already a safety hazard, especially during school hours, and a business will not help that at all.

The proposed intersection is already chaotic! This would only make matters worse.

Not needed!

Traffic already backs up before/after school at this intersection. An entrance/exit to a business such as DG would make this area even more congested and dangerous. I would also expect an increase in pedestrian traffic in the area and there are zero sidewalks/crosswalks there. Unsafe!

I oppose the construction of a Dollar General & self storage units on the corner of U.S.33 and C.R.31

This would be detrimental to the neighborhood and the school.

I lived close to this intersection for 20+ years. This would be a bad and unnecessary addition to an already dangerous intersection.

I think this is a bad idea form a safety point of view. The entrance at this intersection could be a very dangerous thing. I live close by and use this intersection and know that people do NOT drive slow even if there is a school there! We have several DG stores(3) within a reasonable drive(5-10 minutes) from our home, we don’t need another one.

A good way to ruin a beautiful subdivision and put children at risk with Fairfield School across the street. Commissioners should take a drive to Fairfield Farms & see if they would like this happening if they lived there!!!
