Oppose Mask Mandate in Greene County/Springfield Missouri

Please consider our freedoms as more important then imposing mandatory actions based on science that presents multiple versions of efficacy and even some harm that would come from mandatory mask-wearing.

Insettled science vs. settled Constitutional rights

I completely oppose mandating masks.

Vulnerable groups should be responsible for themselves and wear a mask. It shouldn’t be mandated by local government that all people wear a mask.

Mandatory mask wearing is a forced medical procedure. ANY medical procedure requires informed consent of the individual as set forth int he Nuremberg Code. The Nuremberg Code and the related Declaration of Helsinki are the basis for the Code of Federal Regulations Title 45 Part 46, which are the regulations issued by the United States Department of Health and Human Services for the ethical treatment of human subjects, and are used in Institutional Review Boards (IRBs). In addition, the idea of informed consent has been universally accepted and now constitutes Article 7 of the United Nations' International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. It also served as the basis for International Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research Involving Human Subjects proposed by the World Health Organization.

Although I don't think it's true what they say at the bottom about conceal carry, I do 100% disagree with mandatory masks or any other law that goes against the freedoms given us by God Almighty and the founding fathers in the constitution.

Wearing a mask should be voluntary and at an individuals discretion based on their circumstances. No mandate should be ordered.

Our choice!

It should be up to the individual. If some want to wear a Mask, that's their decision. But, Leave the rest of us alone!!

I do not support mandatory mask wearing. Further more, in my home of 8 we have 2 with asthma and 1 who has a trauma background where masks create triggered behaviors. It’s a nightmare. As you think of those with weak immune systems and mask wearing, please don’t forget to think of those who will suffer in other ways due to mask wearing. We are doing our part without wearing masks. I haven’t taken any of my children to a restaurant, indoor facility (other than church now that it’s opened), a grocery store or any kind of shopping since March 12th. We have always been a family who stayed home if there was sickness in our home, etc. We don’t need to be forced into a mask to respect protecting others. This is ridiculous.
