Oppose Mask Mandate in Greene County/Springfield Missouri

As a citizen of Greene county Missouri, and a free citizen of the United States I firmly believe no politician or political party has any authority or right to force masks on its people. This virus has a 99% survival rate for which the CDC, the WHO, and other health care officials have performed and continue to perform an outrageous mismanagement of truth. The media continues fear mongering and other forms of manipulation to make businesses feel liable and threatened. The general public is encouraged to turn against one another because of these political games where we are to surrender all our common sense and reason to these authorities. A Republic for which chooses its candidates is watching carefully and is very much aware of the games and betrayals for which we are made victims of.

I will NOT COMPLY! I will take my tax dollars out of Springfield and shop someplace that values freedom! I will do everything in my power to see you voted out of office if you pass this!

If the masks protect people then why should we have to wear them to protect someone else? This is an unconstitutional mandate. What I have read contradicts what we are being told. I oppose the mandate.

If Springfield mandates mask wearing our family will spend our money elsewhere.

Regardless of the dangers of covid and the effectivness of masks, a mask requirement should not be up for vote. Citizens should be allowed to choose what they wear. Those who do not want to risk anything should be the ones staying inside. You should not be able to force others to do things so that you feel more comfortable.

Pay attention to the recovery rate and actual deaths from COVID. We will likely all get it at one point or another but the vast majority do not need to be hospitalized and are at no great risk of death.

Because the CDC is going to downgrade from epidemic due to not being able to justify that title as death rates continue to go down, city council should listen to the experts. The percentage of people in Springfield and the surrounding areas does not justify making people wear face masks at all times. I know my household will take business elsewhere and have talk to numerous families who feel the same. What are you going to do when fly season comes around? Ir any other virus!!??

No to mandatory Mask

I think our world is out of control. I am sorry for anyone who passes away. But i mean all people. I am a little resentful that it appears that only if you have covid 19 are you recognized. I am being treated for breast cancer, but guess what even though the hospitals preach early detection, I couldn't get a diagnostic mammogram until my doctor stepped in. My husband had a stroke and even though they tell you to get as much therapy as possible, they halted his therapy because of covid 19. I am so sick of hearing we had this many new covid 19 cases or this many to die. What about all the other people that died that day. There are probably just as many of them. Why are no other ailments being treated at the hospitals or clinics until further notice. One of my customers broke her wrist. The surgeon said it was the worst brake he had ever seen. She had to wait a week to have surgery because of covid 19. Why haven't we had shutdowns before with other major ailments. I do not want to wear a mask. Not because I don't care about you. But do you care about me? I have had many respiratory illnesses throughout my lifetime. I have trouble breathing. I want fresh air. I do not want to breathe back in my own toxic germs. And if you don't keep the mask clean. You are waisting your time. I waited on another customer that told me that his friend died in a car crash. They put down that he died of covid 19. Why would they do this? To make the tally higher for their own purposes. What kind of a plan do they have? Yes I do think there is a time and place for a mask. If it is your profession. I have heard several people begging for you to wear a mask but those who have worn a mask have passed away. I have seen demonstrations on media that show people doing tests that show that the mask do not keep particles from coming through. Only the n95 mask. I do not know if these demonstrations are valid.
