State and federal Government should stay out education entirely.

The government does not belong inside peoples' homes, nor private education… as they have already pushed the boundaries in public schools and education. Standardized testing is ludicrous, firstly, and surely parents know far better how to teach their own specific child rather than forcing adherence to an out of touch and out of site politician or cooperation.

As a Kindergartner teacher and educator for 30 years, I OPPOSE THIS BILL. Common core does not work and we are causing too many young hearts, true anxiety/depression. The transformation in my Grandchild, after being homeschooled this year, has been remarkable. Children deserve more! I stand with the children.

My older son went through both public and parochial schools his whole school-age life. He survived and got great grades (3.75-4.0 GPA).
My younger son just does not thrive in "regular" public or parochial schools. He is very intelligent, with an above average IQ score, but he's also on spectrum, has ADHD, ODD and anxiety. This is our first year homeschooling (6th grade) and it's working SO MUCH BETTER for him. Please let everyone keep the freedom to choose what is best for EACH of their children!

Homeschooling is the best a child can have. Protect those rights.
Homeschool works - Common core doesn't.
