Home schooling is succeeding as it is. Please do not penalize home schools when the real intention is to improve public schools.

It is in the best interest of students to keep a system that works. Do not start doing to homeschoolers what has been done in public classrooms for year - the latest fad is imposed, and then falls by the way because it is found to be ineffective. Parental rights trump fads. We homeschool to give our children individualized education which fits them, not a group. We must be allowed to continue to give them that education without interferance from well meaning but misdirected people. No one knows my child like I do and no one has the right to tell me what and how to teach, especially when homeschoolers test scores are higher than public schools scores. This is a bad bill full of privacy and parental rights violations, as well as being bad for students, and it must be defeated.

We oppose HB 1591. Do not need government in homeschool. There are serious issues in public school the government needs to address that does not include homeschool. We will fund our children's education. Leave us to our freedom to do so. Thank you

Homeschooling has been proven time and time again to be a benefit as well as a right. No No No to HB 1591. Indiana is known for Homeschool freedoms, a right that many Indiana parents and families have had, to be able to focus/glean on our children's education instead of a broken system that our government schools suffer from. We do NOT need government in our homeschools.
