I moved to this amazing home school state for the freedom and respect to homeschool my children...I pray the state nor government takes away this right.

Please vote against this bill. If you want to help those who don't have their kids in public schools financially give them a tax credit. It is cheaper for the state also since you don't need new bureaucracy to regulate it.

We believe in choice for our children and a relationship with the Lord being at the helm of their lives. It is our right as parents to educate our children where we feel they will thrive and be most successful.

As parents, we should have the right to educate our children in a safe and loving environment without the government telling what they think is the best way to do that. Plus, as a whole, home scholars score higher then public school kids do on all SAT test,. so we are obviously doing something right!

Please do not pass Lucas HB 1591. This bill erodes the freedoms of homeschooling parents.

Please do no pass HB 1591! We do not receive government funding to pay for our curriculum or co-op fees. These come directly out of our own pocket. As a result, this separates us from those who are unmotivated to educate their children. We have successfully home-schooled for three years and would appreciate no changes in our current homeschool laws.

Please oppose HB 1591. If it must be accepted, we would like the language to be edited to exclude homeschoolers. Homeschooling works because the family is in charge of everything including cost. Having to pay for it ourselves helps separate those who are and are not motivated enough to follow through with educating our own children. This sets up new possible problems of fraud and children not being educated so that public schools won't have to deal with problem students or low test scores.

I have successfully graduated 2 of my children from my homeschool program and I am still homeschooling my last child. I do not want any changes in our current homeschool laws. The ones we have are working just fine! Do not pass HB 1591!

Homeschooling works here in Indiana. Let's not change it.
