I think the daycare will bring more traffic through our neighborhood as people will use it as a cut through. Also, traffic is already really bad to get onto providence rd safely, I feel this daycare will bring more chaotic traffic.

I oppose the rezoning to allow the construction of this commercial establishment due to the traffic congestion and potential danger this daycare will create at the front of our neighborhood and on a major street (Providence Rd). As it is now, many of us in the neighborhood cannot use the front entrance/exit during normal rush hour.

The clear highest and best use of a property between apartments and single family homes is town homes. Not high density! Turning left out of Providence Springs from Springs Farm Lane onto Providence Road with all of the traffic making U turns is already a nightmare. I find it absolutely absurd that such a high density at peak traffic hours could even be considered. It will be a safety issue for not only my subdivision but also the children being picked up from the day care. I am 100% against!.

Against this proposal, the traffic in that area is already backed up during prime drive times. Can you imagine people trying to cross over from the opposite side of the road?

You cannot get down Providence Road or up Providence Road now during rush hour traffic. We do not have the roads available to handle even more of a strain during high traffic periods

This will make an already congested traffic situation worse and will force lots of cars to detour thru the surrounding neighborhoods (Candlewyck and Providence Springs), creating a negative impact on home values, safety and quality of life for many.

The area if Providence Road is already tremendously congested. This was not the intense use of the property and will be detrimental to those who travel this road frequently, not to mention a likely safety hazard for those trying to get to and from the new business

It is already near impossible to take a left out of Providence Springs subdivision onto Providence Road anytime of the day, with this added congestion of traffic just outside our subdivision, we will never be able to use our front entrance, we will always have to drive to Rea road to the traffic light just to get into our subdivision. I feel that this is unacceptable and a burden to home owners.

traffic is already heavy on this road. Have you ever been stuck in traffic when people are dropping off or picking up their kids at any of the schools in the area. Plus how big is the proposed lot. Will it hold the cars of parents picking up or dropping off or will Providence rd become a parking lot.

What a poor location for this. Traffic is already backed up beyond Alexander Rd during peak hours and I often see multi-car accidents because of bumper to bumper cars and sudden stops. This location shouldn't even be an option for a "kiddie academy".

Too much traffic congestion and would be dangerous for the cars full of kids getting into and out of the parking lot.

This is an already heavily traveled and congested area and absolutely would be a bad move. I definitely am not in favor.

This would be a traffic disaster waiting to happen in an already terribly congested area. The safety of young children in cars of their parents entering and exiting the proposed Kiddie Academy should strongly be considered.

In addition to an inconsistent use of the property versus its intent, this is a major safety issue for the area and all of these cars will have children in them. Anyone in support of this idea will have to live with a very potentially bad outcome that could have been avoided.

The proposed location of this center is a very bad idea. As others have commented the traffic on Providence Road is already terrible, particularly at peak hours. The "Traffic Study" results that were shared were not accurate as on any given day one can see how heavy the traffic actually is. There are no commercial facilities on that side of the road anywhere in that section of Providence Road, in the Arboretum and we need to keep this section of Providence Road residential not add a commercial property that will make an already horrible traffic situation even worse.
