BCWA intentionally is depriving the Kiki of oxygen (water flow) to support their financial strategy, with no care for the environment.

All that is required is to fix south gate and permit water flow, there is no need to remove the south dam - at all !

Another sign of rampant mismanagement because of lack of oversight. Warren is notoriously known for the highest price for the worst-tasting “chlorine coolers.” Maybe what the State Attorney General has failed to solve, the US Attorney General can. Maybe a call to the Bureau of Indian Affairs can bring in an ally to fight for the Native American burial grounds, which would justify taking it to the federal level.

The BCWA should be regulated by the PUC like all other utility companies in RI, please stop this unchecked company wasting our money

All the living creatures will be dead. The ecosystem will be eradicated. BCWA has never once proposed to capture and relocate the creatures. The Kickemuit reservoir will be turned into swap/marsh. In that there is no other freshwater habitat in the area, the swans, water fowl and hatchlings will be eradicated.

What happens to all the fish and there will be a nasty smell from the mud and the water fowl have no where to have there nest and take care of there young

I cant even imagine the impact of the ecosystem if the dans were removed.

Let’s hang on to the water we have. We should not deliberately get rid of water in favor of potential future sources.

This cannot happen. They didn't even mentioned the impact on Waterview Condominiums or the one across the street. What about the blue shell!

How can the state government force private home owners halt evictions due to high unemployment due to pandemic but grant a public utility company the authority to raise rates for the most basic necessities of life – WATER ?

They need to repair/ rebuild dams to prevent the beautiful bay from looking like it did in the 60's and 70's black from pollution, with people unable to swim or fish. How will that impact Bristol and Warrens waterfront and our ability to attract tourism?

This needs a lot more thinking and the impact it will cause

Very informative. Sounds like a loose, loose situation of this is allowed.

The BCWA must not be allowed to make these changes unless they take responsibility for the consequences to the citizens of Warren. The health and safety of us and our properties must be protected.
