I oppose this new development. Any structures erected needs to compliment the subdivisions East of Forest Hill Irene headed to Houston Levy & south of Shelby Drive. The assisted living facility next to this land does not need anything that would bring disturbances. We all have invested alot to keep our property value up. Please don't approve anything that will diminish thes neighborhood now or in the future.

I am opposed to this application as it is not compatible with the surrounding community. When asked, Mr. Porter stated that this application is not in line with the surrounding community. As well, Mr. Porter refused to make any changes to the plan itself and told the neighbors that he was putting this in, as is, and that if we (the neighbors, wanted anything else we should have purchased the land ourselves. Furthermore, he proceeded to clear cut without the proper permits. While in the process of clear cutting he assured me he had all the permits and that if I wanted to see them, I could find them myself. When asked if he planned to take all trees off the property, he stated that there wouldn’t be a tree left when he was finished. This plan does not in any way follow the character of the surrounding community. The Office of Facilities Planning & Property Management for Shelby County Schools sent a letter June 25th stating that the schools serving this zone were operating near or above capacity with Germantown Middle School at 98% capacity and Germantown High School at 104% capacity. I respectfully request that you deny this application. Thank you for your time.
