I am not in favor of this development. We have plenty of hotel rooms. What we need is to preserve space for our wildlife.

This should not be rezoned to create such high density of additional Hotel accommodations. Could a plan maybe include employee housing?? Who will staff this if not?

250 rooms = 625 people according to developer. Add this to Fall River Village and Fish Hatchery: too many people to add to the western edge of a WUI as geographically constrained as ours

Please keep Estes Park mountain/valley views and wildlife a top priority. That is what draws visitors.

I am not in favor of this development. The increase in traffic and destruction of open space is not warranted.

I do not believe that Estes Park has a need for 220 more hotel rooms. It is more important for our visitors and wildlife to have open spaces.

Too many adverse impacts from changing from a very low density residential use to a very high intensity commercial use

I moved to this beautiful, peaceful neighborhood especially because of its peacefulness and the nature surrounding our house. This will be ruined by a new street that will bring new tourist traffic through our subdivision. More importantly, structures and traffic will disturb the wildlife that lives on Old Man Mountain and the whole area where hotels will be built.

Keep Estes's remaining open spaces undeveloped!

The only supermarket in town gets raided and overwhelmed during tourist season, leaving slim pickings for residents. The infrastructure would be stressed, traffic and parking downtown would get worse than it already is. As Tom said, quit trying to make Estes Park into a Six Flags. That is not improving the town, it is destroying the town.

I do not approve of the proposal to rezone and build more hotels on the Elkhorn Lodge property. Very bad idea!

I believe that this is not appropriate development in this area.

I strongly oppose the attempt drastic alter the residential nature of the property identified for the Elkhorn Phase 2 Development. This proposal runs contrary to the current county zoning and the Estes Park Comp Plan which identifies the property for potential low density accommodations (rustic lodges and cabins) and specifically not for medium or high density accommodations.

The Elkhorn Lodge property needs to be completed before any such new development should be considered. The historic property is a perpetual eyesore. Fix it. Then the "new " development might not have any appeal to anybody.

We sure don’t need treehouses and extra lodging. Don’t turn this town into another “ 6 flags”. We got one of the top national parks in our backyard. Just go into RMNP cause all kinds of birds have tree houses you can see for free
