Sandy Springs is added a lot of density on Roswell Road corridor will little planning for the thousands of cars that will be added each day to traffic flow.

The 6-month moratorium on new permits and zoning passed at the 7/22/15 city council meeting is a good thing. Surely this will be at the top of the list for examination and consideration as to where it fits in the city land use planning process.

We are already disproportionately over built with apartments. 1200 new such residences is not what we need.

As Yogi might suggest,"this feels like deja vu all over again" just like in the good ole days of Fulton County when our vocal opposition to dvelopment only increased the County's desire to approve more apartments. We have spent the last ten years fighting back, incorporating as a city and introducing some sanity and suddenly it appears we are in danger of losing everything in a rush to develop and marginalize the neighborhoods and single family residents and do irrepairable damage to our quality of life.

There are too many longterm decisions being made on the fly by our SS government right now. High density in this area is wrong. Traffic needs to be improved now even before adding even 1 single officer worker or resident to the Abernathy corridor first!

All those apartments and condos will add to traffic problems. Home values will drop. And they will reduce the residential atmosphere of the area.
