BaDAG would like to reiterate our invitation to everyone/anyone interested in any way to attend our next meeting on Monday 6th January at 7pm in the Scout and Guide Hall. We would like all interested parties to hear the facts, learn about the wider proposed project and to actively participate in the work ongoing to improve our lovely village There is also an open meeting prior to this one, at 6pm, at the same place to discuss the progression of the Station building project. All are also welcome to attend.

well as a keen environmentalist and as an active local....It's great that so many people want to be heard on this issue and wow it seems so many from so far afield! I was just wondering what people were basing their opinions on that is how are folk reserching for their answer because after my research on this issue I can see that it is completely in the interests of the riverbank for action to be taken, a lot of the trees are at their natural age where they will start coming down in the winds they are in need of attention if left unattended they will most likely disrupt the riverbank, the action beind proposed is indeed forward thinking acting before rather than so often after an event that so many people would question why wasn't something done!......I find it wholly unfair to blame/accuse BaDAG for every other problem in the village, this does not get anything done, for those who compare to the efforts of the indeed unacceptable level of dog-poo in the area well you know there are some of us in the village who agree it is a problem and i for one who does not have a dog ast this time, carry poo bags and when i see them i lift them so I am doing something about it I encourage all efforts ot address this with the owners but lets face it it's everythings not as we would like it but it's far more effective to be proactive with actual help than moaning with the tounge alone!!!!This is our community the more that help the more that get's done....I do not support this petition and i would encourage those that have signed to check out the facts, there is plenty opportunity to have your say, if you can find the petition from a seat in front of a computer you can find out where to go in person and make you feeling heard and count :-)

Hi James just to reply to your comments...the fact is, this is being put out for local consultation before any action! ;-)

Why are you deciding to do this? Answer the questions that the PUBLIC have for you and not those of your group of YES MEN.

Who are you? Who are you to be making these decisions? Who, in the first instance suggested this?

Perhaps if BaDAG read the argument posed by the petition (find it strategically placed at the top of the page) then they would realise what the petition is against. In my understanding, the petition is against BaDAG carrying out any work along the river. Those who have signed have read the passage and agreed to it. P.S. Thank you for meeting date :)

Riverman: if you read what the petition is opposing, then you will see that those signing are against any PROPOSALS made by BaDAG for the riverside, 'both now and in the future', whatever those proposals may be.

I add to my understanding: It is against any of BaDAG's future plans for along the river too.

By signing this petition, people are objecting to BaDAG's association with the riverbanks (both now and in the future).

Rogues. I do not support BaDAG in any of their efforts. All talk and no action. INCOMERS. If the village wanted change they would ask for it. They should not be told what is happening by people who turn up out of the blue.

Thank you all for signing this petition. We've even over run our original goal of 1,000 signatures! The petition will be presented to BaDAG at their next meeting. Please attend if you can: Monday, 6th Jan 2014 at 6.00pm in Brora Scout and Guide Hall, Gower Street, Brora. Once again, thank you for your all the support and comments received. Now we wait! GFG
