This is very strange. Would very much like to know who or what is behind this nonsense.

If they have that much money and time to spare perhaps they would like to go out and clear the dogs mess from the streets. We will all support their cause then. Trees are doing no harm and in most cases are beneficial to our environment. By all means keep them under supervision for decay. There are also many places in the village where bushes are severely restricting footpaths and forcing children on to the road to get past. These are more in need of attention so please channel your enthusiasm in the right direction.

BaDAG is in complete agreement with the petition aim of managing the riverbanks trees - please be assured this project is not aimed at denuding the riverbank, but securing the regeneration of the area.
The overgrown riverbank is populated with non-indigenous trees and part of the project includes replacement planting with indigenous species.
We are also in consultation with relevant public agencies about any impact on wildlife including protected species.
Overall, the aesthetic impact of the area will be enhanced once the project is completed.
BaDAG appreciates interest and concern about our village centre - please get in touch for more detail of the project.

As a holidaymaker to Brora every year since 1964, I see no reason for proposals by this action group.

Why are this action group not focussing on what matters. What needs action taken. Such as dogs mess. If they want to know our opinion, then it is to clean the dogs mess. I suggest they clean it with their bare hands the do gooding cunts.
