I strongly oppose the “Aldie Agreement” proposed by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors conveying the “Aldie Assemblage” to the Mojax developers as part of their deal to buy the threatened 16.4 acres in the village of St. Louis.

Development for the sake of development benefits only the developer. Keep the land we have now in Aldie pristine. This will destroy Aldie and set a terrible precedent for future development in western Loudoun.

The good work at St. Louis is diminished by the unseemly scheme hatched with the Mojax developers. Loudon County Board of Supervisors need to regain their ethical bearings and return to fiscal responsibility by rejecting this trade.

I was shocked to hear that the county was even considering such a ridiculous counter offer from Jack Andrews. This is not good business setting such an absurd precedent.

How short sighted of the county to consider this when this proposed development is leap frogging the "transition area" that iwas formed to separate commercial and mass housing developments from the still largely rural western part of Loudoun and Fauquier counties.
