Totally oppose. As a tax payer, this so called deal is insulting. The county purchases real estate that was not sufficiently research for the initial purpose and now it wants to make a deal with a construction organization that can't be trusted. How many times can a developer ignore the policies set in place to protect the environment, be assessed a minimal fine and still be given a chance to do it again. Protecting the village against improper actions, environmental impacts, traffic congestion and the total face lift to a historic village should be the actions taken by the county and not making deals with organizations that can't be trusted..

Please help keep the land undeveloped. Over development damages lands, waters and causes too many changes to small areas and small towns, especially when it is done improperly and without regards for area citizens and the environment. Local home and property owners should always be heard and their wishes prevail over big money developers.

This would be tragic for this gorgeous historic part of Virginia. The drive beyond Gilbert’s Corner west, is an important part of American history and further development will ruin the charm, beauty and history of Virginia, one of the 13 original colonies. This is so unnecessary and greedy.

My family owed land in this area before the Revolutionary War. Aldie is a beautiful little place to visit and I would like to keep it that way.
