Stop this development now. Tell the developers to build up not out. Consolidate human areas in eastern Loudoun. Leave western Loudoun alone. Get them out!

This swap does nothing but reward these developers for the destruction they do. They should be sanctioned and not given a gift by the county for the damage they have done to wetlands in St Louis. They should NOT be given another treasure, and the money to ruin it. They act with impunity because the county lets them.

After seeing the significant opposition to building an inappropriately large firehouse in this location, with many of the same issues, the BOS does this? A stab in the back to the Village of Aldie. NO!!!

Do the math - The St Louis parcel is valued at $475,000. The Board wants to give the developer $1.5 million cash, the Aldie parcels that the County bought for $1.7 million, a $600,000 grant PLUS a road linking the developers' land to Rt. 50. Our tax dollars at work to destroy a historic village.

Please vote NO on the development of these land parcels in Aldie. In addition to the steep slopes on this land which present significant grading challenges , there is a very real potential for flood wash into the nearby Little River. I am afraid that the old Indian trail behind the firehouse , following the river and climbing the ridge of Bull Run Mountain will be totally obliterated.
