People with conditions such as CRPS shouldn't be punished because of addicts.

This action attacks a symptom at the expense of patients with chronic pain who require these medications to allow them to function in spite of an ongoing disease.

As a person with CPRS I believe this will rob so many of us of our ability to have a somewhat normal life. If it weren't for opioids I would probably be bed ridden. Those who are getting opioids on the street will still find a way. Those of us who need them will be the ones who suffer.

Having a chronic pain illness is different then being a druggie buying pills on the street.

I have for many years needed generic Vicodin to help my life. I have arthritis degenerative disc and joint. Fibromyalgia complex pain syndrome hashimoto thyroiditis hypothyroidism and sometimes these problems and weather take me down I'm in bed at night crying the only relief is hydrocodone with acinomenophen 5-325. My problem is insurance the best BC/BS not covering lab work urinalysis. I got a bill for 145.16 last pain management visit which is sad because this is needed for refill for this prescription every month script can only be filled if u get one only at the pain mgmt office and taken to pharmacy. At this rate and being on disability I won't be able to get script as I can't pay this out of my check monthly as we all know SSDI u don't receive that much. God bless our younger chronic pain patients and older ones if treatment is not paid for and they don't know by lab if narcotic is taken correctly and loss of life results in my mind not a opiate problem but medical insurance is pushing patients away resulting in deaths God bless us all Daily living without this opiate is no life for me and others with chronic pain

I have RSD and I've tried every kind of treatment there is without success. I am NOT addicted to opioids but sometimes dependent on them to be able to function everyday. Please doing take away what we, the responsible ones, need to have a life.

I don't take opioids. However, I have CRPS/RSD, & if the meds will reduce my pain, I'd like to have them as an option.

Remedies such surgical implants for RSD are not for everyone. Opiods are not for everyone, but I truly believe parternering with your physician and close monitoring from both parties is important. I support this petition. I am not a candidate for a surgical nerve stimulator, and my pain mgt. Doctor and I have a mutual commitment and very close monerting of my pain medicine.

I'm prescribed Norco for my pain. I couldn't work without them. This isn't fair to the ones who really need the meds.

I suffer from full body CRPS. CRPS is the most painful chronic pain condition known to the medical community at this time. There are few avenues of treatment with even fewer that help much in any way. How can you look at me and the millions like me and say for the actions of a few you are now going to take away the only thing we have left that gives us any amount of relief and allows us to continue to live life. What are you going to say to the families of the people who couldn't take living with that amount of pain and no help anymore. CRPS/RSD is known as the suicide disease for a reason. Please don't trade one bad statistic for a even worse one.

I have CRPS! This disease in incurable and the pain is excruciating and nonstop! It takes our opioids to try to have a bit of a lower pain day to just shower and make food. Please do not take away the only thing that helps us to live day to day.

People in chronic pain need relief. I only take when absolutely needed. We are not the problem and are under doctor supervision.
