Very much against this. Deaths in USA are from organized crime/cartels selling and individuals who buy from street dealers. Not from patients who go to pharmacy.

Because I want to live. I want to see my daughters get married and such and without my opioids, I'll be just another statistic of the Suicide Disease.

Chronic pain patients responsibly take their opioid medication to have quality of life... we certainly don't get "high" nor are we "addicted". Stop the slander and torture upon chronic pain patients!

I have RSD and require these medications to get through the day. Please don't take away our right to have medication we require to survive this disease.

For those of us suffering from actual chronic pain and not abusing the drug, this will create more lost wages, medical bills, family strife, and unbearable pain. Reducing the quantity manufactured will not reduce the number of people abusing the drug. Let doctors determine treatment, not a bureaucrat who has never suffered from RSD, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, or cancer. Fight drug addicts, not patients.

Being a patient with CRPS and numerous other medical conditions makes it hard enough to keep going cause the pain is so severe. I have never abused my meds heck I have gone to several different states and numerous Dr trying to find a way to stop my pain. The ones overdosing for a high will find another way to get it! The true people that need it to stay alive are the only ones you will be hurting!! Meth cocaine crack all illegal and yet it doesn't stop the addics from getting it!

I am a full body RSD patient for over 15 years. I require my pain medication so I can try to have a more quality of life. People like myself are NOT addicts. We suffer with excruciating pain 24/7 and are bedridden without these medications

People suffering from chronic pain need medication to get through the day . These medications help to make our painful bodies live a little bit better. To reduce production you're only hurting the people that are truly hurting.

It is unacceptable to restrict pain mess and force more suffering on pain patients in an effort to prevent abuse by those who do not need them. Abusers will always find a way. Legitimate patients are already suffering.

People that are in chronic pain do not use opioids to get high. They are not addicted...they are dependent on them to relieve pain. PLEASE do NOT reduce.

I suffer from CRPS/RSD along with DDD, arthritis, full body neuropathy, stenosis of the spine and Gorlin's Syndrome. The pain I live with everyday is horrible. If I didn't have pain meds I couldn't even shower. We should not have to live with this pain when there are meds to help all because of heroin addicts. I take my meds as prescribed and do not abuse them. Even though I need something stronger we are holding out as long as I can to avoid pain mgmt. The threats the doctors are getting go against the oath they take. You are keeping them from treating patients.

Don't punish chronic pain patients with yet another decrease in opiate availability in the US. Those who use opiates to treat pain are NOT the problem.

The damage the DEA reductions have done have already taken most chronic pain patients pain medication away, the loss of Drs due to Drs not wanting to treat pain patients out of the fear of DEA consequenses, leaving pain patients with the only options to relief of any kind in turning to the streets (which in itself increases the risk of overdosing due to lack of knowledge of what they are getting or how strong the dosages are), over the counter drugs (which must be taken in amounts far exceeding recommended dosage which in itself can cause death by overdosing), or suicide.

I have suffered from CRPS for over 25 years, and the damage this would do to people who genuinely NEED pain medicine to live is horrific. There is a reason it's called the "suicide disease."
