The Town of Geddes is considering a ZONING CHANGE to allow Commercial Development in the West Genesee Corridor (the area from the bypass on-ramp at Fairmount east to Fay Road.) This change would allow: • The houses along West Genesee Street to be turned into commercial properties with no residential requirement We object to this change on the grounds that: • The character of our Westvale Neighborhood would be forever changed • Homes changed to businesses would erect signage • There would be increased traffic • Backyards would be paved to become parking lots • There would be increased light and noise pollution • Residential properties would be bordered by businesses • There would be no “life” in these houses after 5pm Please sign this petition to maintain the zoning as it now exists for the West Genesee Street Corridor in the Town of Geddes.
