Our town will simply not be the same without it.
Colac will go backwards and send more out of town to shop elsewhere

We need Target to stay, or at least be replaced with something like it. Colac love Target, don't just take it away.

This target store does not only provide job opportunity and an alternative option for shopping to Colac Otwag locals but also to those from other smaller nearby communities and towns who are not able to drive the hour or more trip to Geelong or Warnambool. It closure will be guaranteed to see another building fall to potential disrepair and force many ro steer away from the target brand for shopping altogether. If target wishes to promote loyalty and show appreciation to its customers who have been loyal for many many years I hope Wesfarmers will reconsider its decision. Closure at this time will be absolutely devastating to its current employees who have kept its doors open amidst the Covid period too.

The growth of our region where more families look to live away from cities should increase the viability of Target. It is important both socially and economically for Target to stay.

If Ararat can still have target country why can’t Colac or at least a KMart hub

I love target myself, but Kmart would be great in this town. Especially if you dont drive and have limited travel options!
