Situated an hour from where I live, Colac is the closest large town that has accommodates all of our families shopping needs. Removing Target would be a huge blow to us and many others in the region, forcing us to travel further for essential items.

Without Target in Colac and no Kmart to replace its close to an hour to the nearest of either of these and thats if you live in the township of Colac. What about those of us who live on farms or in the Otways etc? That's over 1 hour away for us. Would you travel over 1 hr away for this? And no, online doesn't always work.

Colac has limited stores as it is, shouldn’t westfarmers be looking at adding more store to the area to create jobs etc.

Council want people to spend in town but are not encourageing target to stay, best & less will not be enough to clothe the people in this town.
