The golf course does so much more to harm this lake than recreational use.

Reopen the lake as a young man my dad used to take me out fishing out on the lake. We used to find arrow heads in the woods surrounding. It's a shame that only the rich can use a once public lake

I grew up for quite some time living right beside this lake when i was a little boy. I would love to see it open back up to the public. I believe it would make a great comeback to being one of the best bass fishing lakes in Virginia and also for other fish species.

This is a wonderful lake for fishing, boating, kayaking etc. It was opened for years without detrimental impact on the water source. It should belong to the community for smart recreational use. As is, you can't even fish there unless you live on the water or have permission from landowners. There's been a ton of residential construction on and around the lake. A public marina would absolutely be fiscally sustainable.

There is no good reason why this body of water should be closed to the public. The idea of "terrorists" poisoning the water supply is a fantasy.

Public access to the lake would enrich the lives of surrounding residents. I have managed several youth rowing programs, and Lake Manassas offers a premier location to potentially offer a program for area youth and adults, and generate revenue which would be invested back to the city or lake.

My grandpa and I used to fish this lake when I was a kid. Hands down best lake ever. I would work there for free to have this lake opened back to the public. Seriously people would pay to fish here, or even to just enjoy the beautiful sights the lake has to offer.

It should be available for non-motorized boating.

I support this reasonable petition to reopen the lake.

I would be more than willing to pay a per use fee to boat and fish Lake Manassas, it's convenient and closer than any other body of water in NoVa

It would be nice to have access to the lake for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating and fishing. As a public resource, it should be make available.

I fully support NON-Motorized (gas or electric) boating. -People pay a good price for the land adjacent and they should not have to deal with the noise or the nuisance of lazy boaters. I fully support opening to Fishing with an added cost similar to other reservoirs. -This would help offset any cost burden to the PWC and Manassas residents. -That's who would really pay for this otherwise!!
