It is inconceivable that a substation would be placed next to our school placing the health of our children and staff at significant risk. If this happens I will seriously consider removing my children from the school. This should be a consideration for LAUSD as I suspect I would not be the only parent to take such action.

It is inconceivable that the thought of putting a power station right next to young children would even be a reality. The substation, which was supposed to be over by the fire station, had rich homeowners voice their anger and it was taken off the list. But hundreds of parents voicing their opposition over something potentially physically damaging to children is still on the list! Please do not build there!!

I hear from the realtors representing the home next door to the land on Marquez, that 5 large poles will be installed. This land is so beautiful, that would be a shame! Dog park please :)

Please be smart. Do NOT place a substation adjacent to Marquez charter elementary school!!!!

Please, not by the school. It would be unsafe, and it would result in a massive exodus of students from the school.

I am appalled that LADWP would even entertain the idea of building a station so close to an elementary school. I am not a resident of Marquez Knolls nor do my children attend Marquez school, but I am long time resident of the Palisades and strongly opposed to LADWPs plan. Why risk the health of our children and the surrounding stability of the schools geology? I urge LADWP to rethink this issue and move the station to another site.

I am tremendously against placing the DWP powerstation next door to Marquez Charter Elementary School. Could there possibly be a worst place to have a substation than near a school with young , developing children? I cannot imagine how one can justify this action on your part...Please consider other site locations, before ever putting young children in a situation where they could be exposed to any potential health risks. The only benefit to the Marquez site is financially for LADWP. There is nothing in the plus column whatsoever.

Please keep Marquez Charter school safe.

There is substantial evidence of the harm electrical distribution substations do to surrounding community ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!

My children attended the elementary school next to the proposed project site. Please protect the hundreds of children who spend their school days adjacent to the site.

I support the Las Liones choice for the DWP because the hazards of the dangerous geology and fire hazard are too dangerous to support being so close to school children,
