Open up Lower Los Liones to LADWP--Keep Marquez Charter Safe

Please do not endanger 600 elementary school kids and their teachers. DMV will cause a major drain of students from Marquez Elementary. What a pity when there are suitable alternatives.

This is totally bizarre that Marquez was ever a considered site to begin with. Wake up people. You don't build a power substation next to an elementary school- DUH!!!

the area behind the fire station 23 is perfect - not near any residential or school property. the property next to marquez school has had slide problems for over 60 years and that is why none of it has been re-developed where the houses slid.

Hello, Who would want an electrical distribution substation in their backyard? It's a question of minimizing the potential risks to the general public. Keep Marquez Charter safe for generation to come. 1.17 acres behind Fire Station 23 at Los Lions Drive/Sunset Blvd is an isolated site away from general public. Thank you for your consideration.

I strongly oppose the DWP Substation being built next to an elementary school. Keeping our children safe should be first priority.

Please do not put the DWP station near our children.

Power plants and wires, no matter how small or big, do not belong in close proximity to an elementary school, where children who are still growing and developing are exposed to the fallout. Not OK! I vote NO!!

I am an avid hiker (mainly in the Santa Monica mountains around the Pacific Palisades), and I am familiar with the Los Liones site. I am also a parent with children at a local Pacific Palisades School (not Marquez), and I strongly support the Los Liones site for the DWP over a site next to the Marquez Charter Elementary School.

Please protect our children and do not build power station next to the elementary school. I am very active in opposing this proposal.
