I hope the city can find a way to keep the tennis courts open in Charlestown. Kids and adults from Charelestown and the surrounding neighborhoods benefit so much from this facility. It would be a shame to see it closed.

We have enough changes going on in our little town from the redevelopment, Sullivan said project and the casino. Let’s not take away something that is very important anencephaly has had a positive impact in the Charlestown community for the past 25 years.

I, as an adult, was so looking forward to playing tennis this winter. It is such a wonderful resource having tennis in our backyard without having to get in a car!

I have wonderful memories of learning the game of tennis in the bubble in Charlestown. I want my children to also experience those memories

I feel that it’s about time you stop coming into Charlestown trying to force things to your liking. You’re coming into somebody else’s Community that has lived there their whole lives and probably helped or benefited in some sort of way for the tennis courts. You’ll be taking away a safe place for children to learn a sport that is otherwise unavailable to the community. Can you please go somewhere else. We don’t like or want your change. Your personal opinion does not help this community. It tries to tear it apart. Ex. Stopping the cannon from going off, parking in the navy yard only for navy yard residences , changing the memorial bench at eden street. The list can go on. What you should really focus on is cleaning up after all of your dogs and learning how to park. You come into this town and try to make it your own and exclude the life long residents. It’s really sickening. We see how you were raised. We weren’t we are a tight knit community that looks after their own we don’t exclude. We include. So please take your problem with the tennis bubble somewhere else. Also you’re disrespecting Mel Stillman who was a very important part of our community, but you wouldn’t know because you didn’t live here. We did and we don’t forget or disrespect a great man who loved his town and always made it better. Shame on you!!!!

I was one of the founding members of the CHAD Tennis program and it took a lot of hard work and dedication to get this tennis bubble off the ground. It needs to be save not only to secure that more kids enjoy the game of tennis but to show how hard we fought to get it there! I've lost many friends (who were in the tennis program with me) since the installment of this bubble and it always reminds me of them and the times we shared as innocent kids. FIX IT PLEASE! The town is changing too much- we need pieces of our neighborhood to remain in TACT. Love and peace to all.
