I hope that the city and provide some solution to this situation as it is such an amazing resource and athletic outlet for the city kids and adults alike. There is tremendous support among Charlestown, North End, Beacon Hill and West End neighborhoods for such a unique assets for all of these residents. The city should find the funds necessary to get this done. I am sure many people would be willing to help in this effort in many ways.

Stillman Tennis Center, as well as its staff and coaches, have served the Boston community well. The year-round tennis programs bring joy and opportunity to Boston children, who would otherwise have limited to no options to learn and play tennis in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our son's love of tennis has grown as he has played regularly at Chad and gotten to know the coaches and players. The loss of Stillman leaves a great void in the community.

The Stillman Tennis Center is a very important part of our community as well as the surrounding communities. It provides a much needed outlet for sport, exercise, gathering and team building for children and adults alike. To have this very important community resource shuttered for 6 months of the year, due to lack of a bubble, is a shame. It will impact school programs and adult programs for hundreds of people in our community, many who do not have the resources to utilize other outlets. Please - let's work together to find a solution.

The Stillman Tennis Center has been an important asset for both Charlestown and the City as a whole, the degradation of the facility resulting in its closure should never have happened...a true loss that the City must remedy!!
