Agree most kids would be best served to receive in school instruction 5 days / week (unless they have health issues that put them at special risk) for their educational needs and general well being.

Based on experience in other parts of our society, our children, together with teachers and school staff, should be able to return to school safely. It is imperative for their mental health and education.

I am going to be a freshman this fall, and virtual learning isn’t enough. I am willing to wear a mask at school as long as we go back to the original school schedule.

Schools need to be open full time! Distance learning is not effective! Kids need to be in school with their teacher and their peers!

Kids need to be in school! It is very difficult for some children to learn on an online platform. For being the #1 school district in the state, it is disheartening and disappointing that the school district has decided to make this decision of part-time in school learning. I am not sure how this proposed/current plan will help in preparing our students for college years. Also, why did they split the grades apart? During a time like this, separating them from their classmates and friends in their grade will only add to the stress and anxiety many of them are already currently facing. A reconsideration of the plan needs to be considered....

If preschools, which need to open bc they are independently owned & need to make a profit, can open safely, why in the world can’t our schools get our children in for face to face learning. Open up!

Online school will put these kids further behind, as witnessed throughout the spring.

Show some courage. Our firefighters, police, first responders, military, healthcare professionals don’t sit it out because they aren’t guaranteed a perfectly safe work environment. They risk their safety every day with it without Covid. Sad our children have to suffer because of their political bias. Go back!

Our children are at risk by NOT going back to school. Education is necessary!
