I agree. Open up our parkways for their owners, the public.

No cars on the parkways! We need the extra space for walkers, bikers, and joggers!

Definitely in favor of bikes and pedestrians taking over parkways during Coronavirus restrictions. Car accessible again after.

Keep us mentally and physically healthy: close the parkway to cars!

Please consider closing the West River Road from Franklin to the overpass on Ford Parkway. During this pandemic, folks need to be outside even more, and also remain six feet away. Now that its bike season, it has become more difficult to maintain social distance. There are plenty of roadways for the reduced vehicular traffic in the area. Please help us stay healthy, both physically and mentally, by allowing the road to be used for bikes and both pathways for pedestrians.

We need west river parkway closed to vehicles. Pedestrians and bikes need more space between Franklin Ave and Lake Street especially.

No one should drive that close to the waterways with or without covid19

It’s great to see so many folks out exercising along the River, but it makes social distancing challenging. Please close down the corridor between Franklin and Lake at certain times of the day to allow greater foot and bike traffic. Thanks!

Please close the parkway all the way to Minnehaha Park along West River Parkway. Perfect timing with the pandemic. People of Minneapolis needs a break! What better way to allow everyone to play and able to social distance.

Why does the Park Board own and operate roads for cars. This is valuable space for nature and people. Parks are for people, not cars.

Trails are too crowded right now for appropriate social distancing. Please help us stay safe and healthy by opening up roads to people, not cars!
