The RSPCA is not fit for purpose: reform it. Let the police prosecute and the RSPCA respond to cruelty; rescue and rehabilitate.

He admitted killing the fox with a baseball bat. He bragged about it. It was Boxing Day, the main date in the Hunting Calendar when Hunters are out in force, he killed an innocent hungry animal in cold blood. By not prosecuting him it will send out the wrong signal to cruel thugs everywhere that they can kill foxes with impunity.

I believe that all cruelty to any animal should be prosecuted. No one should be above the law

Just because someone has money and can buy himself out of a courtcase, doesn't mean said person is right. Anyone, who hurts or kills innocent animals should be prosecuted, no matter which background this person has. Anyone, who has no respect for animals has no respect for his fellow human beings.

I have had serious concerns about this organisation for years - social media just highlights their complete lack of effectiveness at grassroots level.

Very disappointed in their response to concerns I have raised and also to others concerns

The RSPCA isn't set up to deal with the abuse and misuse as it happens today. Reduced resources for thevpolice mean it's now vital the RSPCA's powers to act need to be redefined and strengthened

The RSPCA are seemingly no longer interested in helping animals. Even in cases of proven, verifiable cases of animal, the RSPCA will no longer respond.

I'm fully in favour of any restructuring of the RSPCA that will be of benefit to the many animals that this misleading charity let down on a regular basis
