Although my personal experience of music officers at Creative Scotland has been very positive, having found them clear-minded and helpful, there does seem to be something seriously amiss in the organisation as a whole, which is why I am signing this petition.

Musician, sound artist, producer, hoping for as broad and open a consultation as possible on the future of arts funding - to me that means recognition that "the arts community" is not a select group of leaders, animators and organisations but at the end of the day the entire nation.

I hope we can see a way where we can encourage and support the next generation and value the diversity of the huge wealth of artists and companies who make such a valuable contribution to Scottish cultural life.

The shifting sands and muddy waters of Scottish arts funding over recent decades needs to end. Internal auditing has consistently been a failure, time is due for some oversight.

Really concerned at what is happening and the lack of transparency in relation to how funding is granted: does not seem to relate to officer's assessments and recommendations.
