Just watched the video - No evidence for the pro porn assertions made, no balance provided, no reflection on the consequences - so, easy access by children and teenagers to increasingly violent, deeply misogynistic and degrading images, is not an issue, (according to Childline)we should be concerned about? No one is going to be able to un-invent porn or the internet, so it is extremely important that children and teenagers are given the opportunity to have a serious, evidence based discussion about all of these issues. This video merely comes across as flippant pro porn propaganda when what is needed is an invitation to reflect on the impact of easily available porn on the lives of children, teenagers and adults bearing in mind that all three groups participate in creating, as well as accessing, this material.

No organisation should promote pornography to children. For a national organisation founded to promote child safeguarding and support children experiencing abuse is a grotesque betrayal of children and of the public's trust.

This is an obvious breach of safeguarding principles

Why are Childline / the NSPCC advocating porn to children? Porn that normalises abuse, torture and the degradation of women and these charities are selling it to kids? A major ethical and safeguarding fail.

Absolutely disgusting child line. Why are you promoting pornography to children? The only discussion we should be having with children about pornography is how damaging it is to children’s ideas about healthy sexual relationships, based on mutual respect, love and enthusiast consent.

Children need to be protected from porn not encouraged to think if it as a normal part of life.

Porn normalises abuse and teaching children that is it great to watch sacrifices the interests and safety of women and girls, whilst simultaneously desensitising boys and men. But most of all, exposing children to porn, even under the guise of 'educating' is abuse.

This video normalises porn for children. It does not identify the harm to women and girls, and the abuse of them it teaches to boys and men.

Porn is real crimes uploaded including trafficking of minors, it normalises incest, child rape (Teen is a huge genre as is abuse of family members) and is resulting in younger perpetrators & peer on peer abuse. Simon Bailey police commissioner for children has been clear that a new group of paedophiles is emerging age 18-25 who are desensitised to the abuse of women. It normalises sadistic torture and titles include ‘frightened’ and ‘ambushed’ and ‘destroyed’ as common. It leads to social dysfunction in males and normalises anal sex and BDSM so much do that we now have young girls believing ‘If he does not choke me, slap me or spit on me, he is not a real man.’ Parents can get support with free programmes to help them talk to kids at Culture Reframed. Schools must seek support from educators who know porn is not fantasy or fiction, but real crimes uploaded. Go to Yes Matters, Men At Work CIC and Not Buying It. The Reward Foundation has good resources on the science of addiction. Tell boys about the NoFap movement.

Porn is for adults. Suggesting it is educational for children smacks of adultification and grooming.

Concerned parent. Worried that such known institutions are using such resources.

This type of video normalises unhealthy relationships amongst young people which contributes to the sexual assault/harassment crisis in schools right now. The DFE have completely lost sight of what safeguarding is where sex and relationship education is concerned. This needs urgent action across multiple areas.

NSPCC, Childline, has to lose charitable status, be defunded and disbanded with urgency. Continually damaging our children. Not fit for purpose, corrupt organisation.

Utterly appalling. Especially coming from an organisation like Childline.

Childline, what are you thinking? Giving kids search terms and telling them porn is fun to watch?

Porn is supposed to be for over 18s. Why does this video teach that it's normal and fun for kids to watch? There's even a joke about someone watching being obviously under 18.
