Follow actual examples of Covid success. The Netherlands never shut their schools during this trying time and have been successful.

The benefits outweigh the risk. It is time to get them back in the classroom so they do not fall behind others in our nation who are able to attend in person.

Please open the schools our kids need and deserve some type of normalcy. With schools closed the risks out weigh the rewards. The learning loss will be challenging to come back from. Let’s put our trust in God and get our schools back open.

If it can be done with strict hygiene protocols let's get the schools re-opened, at least part time.

As a parent and Pulmonary Critical Care physician, I have spent a lot of time caring for COVID 19 patients and preparing for a safe re opening of our school. With the resources and planning that we have put into reopening, I feel confident that we are taking the necessary precautions to get our children and teachers back in the classroom safely. We would never compromise the health of the students or staff and it is the top priority. The transmission rates of children are very low. The benefit of Catholic schools is that they are smaller and have additional resources that allow them to meet the CDC guidelines for reopening of schools. The emotional, physical, and educational impact of this decision will become more evident the longer they are out of the classroom. I pray that we can take the time to re evaluate this decision to keep our doors closed.

My two granddaughters go to Saint Michaels in Poway and my three grandsons go to St Gregory in Scripps Ranch. It is extremely important that all five of my grandchildren have a Catholic education in the classroom. Please open the Catholic schools. God will take care of all of us

I am a nurse and my husband is an essential worker. We need to work and our children are suffering emotionally and their intellectual stimulation has greatly suffered without in person education. Please make allowance for our Catholic elementary school to go back to in person education. I am an RN and on the task force to get out school safe. We have a pulmonoligist/intensivist on our team and she is ready to send her children back to school despite her being a front line worker with covid patients. Would she do that if she thought it put her or the teachers at risk. God Bless you!
