Open Lee's Summit LSR7 Schools

If we’re not in a Hot Spot area I say open our schools up‼️

Please consider 5 days/week for these students! The majority of us are willing to sign a waiver and do what it takes for our children’s mental health. I watch the University of Kansas update each morning & those physicians as well my own pediatrician are recommending it. We can do this LSR-7!

I believe it is important to get the kids back in school.

Please. We are begging you. Kids need their teachers Kids need their friends Kids need their sports Kids need their routine Kids need exposed to germs Kids need to build antibodies Kids need to help prevent mutation of this and make it last longer Kids need to feel real life Kids will drop out if they can’t have their life back Kids will suffer mentally Kids will lash out Kids will consider suicide Read the real statistics. Our kids need you!

Schools need to be opened

Having class together has so many benefits for both Our kids, parents, and teachers. We need to be back together to grow.

The numbers do not justify this reaction.

I am a senior this year and I would much rather have an in person experience than an online one. I am taking advanced classes along with Orchestra, and both of those things are difficult to teach online. I am also doing STA this year, and a lot of that has to do with in person experiences and hands on learning. I hope I can have at least have half of my senior year, and that people start making better decisions in education to push for in person learning.

Yes!! Teachers should sacrifice their lives so our kids can text each other in person!!

Please listen to the majority of parents who want/need their children to return to school 5 days a week!

Open our schools. Our children’s futures depend on it!

I whole heartedly believe that it is in the best interest of both the children and parents that schools open back up and teach our children 5 days a week. Our children need a structured environment to learn in as well as the socialization of interacting with children their age. This is empartive to their developing minds.

I like school

For the sake of my granddaughter’s and their friends mental health, we need to get these kids in the classroom. The underprivileged children of our community are going to be left even further behind if LSR7 moves forward virtual only.

Kids need one on one interaction. Covid is just like flu. Get over it!!!!

I am glad this petition mentions the fact that the survey we did had the overwhelming majority wanting to send their kids back and yet we aren’t given that option now at all.

Open school!!!!

We support in person school for our kids! We desire face to face instruction! We feel the risk of depression, concerns with mental health as well as wellness for the whole child far outweigh the risks of illness due to Covid! Please open our schools!

Kids need to be in school period!
