Please open our schools! If they can be together for sports they can be together for learning! I have a kid with dyslexia and ADD who will NOT do ok with virtual learning!

Open the schools up to 5 day in person classes. If parents elect to home school their kids out of fear- let them. If teachers are fearful. Let them teach the online students. Remember, you work for the tax paying citizens of Lee’s Sunmit. We do not work for you.

My child needs in person learning. Idk how he’s supposed to do IB Chemistry at home, marching band at home. Etc. Does not make sense at all.

Our children need to be in school. If they aren’t, we are jeopardizing their precious years the learn, develop emotionally, physically and physiology. They need to be in school settings with structure, added precautions of course, but the data shows Covid is the least risky to children. Let teachers who feel uncomfortable coming back to the classroom be the remote teachers and I guarantee we have enough who do feel strongly that we should be in class.. my kids are doing summer camp, Rec sports safely. Education should be #1 priority, yet we are letting media and fear guide our decisions to start remotely.
