IT Fitness, Inc. dba In Tune Fitness Studio has been attempting to open our doors at 5780 CH James Parkway, Powder Springs GA since January 25th. We have followed all the guidelines required by the City of Powder Springs in a timely manner in order to open for business. We tried to stay a step ahead of the process so things would move along quickly. It has been nearly 1 month since the process began and most of that time has been spent waiting for responses or appointments from with the government. We had promised our members that we would open on February 4th believing that the process to open a new business in this County/City would be a somewhat simple process as that no work needed to be done to our space as it was move-in ready. Had we known that this process was going to be so timely and difficult we would have not moved our business into the City of Powder Springs. As a small women-owned business in this extremely tough economy every DAY that goes by we lose revenue, clients, our reputation of high-quality service and standards is damaged and our livelihood is severely crippled Our vision is to provide an environment where our clients can workout in comfort and confidence all while offering a fitness experience not just a workout. We believe all goals are possible if given the right tools, given the right motivation, and given the right support! You will find all of that at In Tune Fitness Studio. Creating an exercise addiction ... IS POSSIBLE!! This vision has been severely comprised beyond our control. The City of Powder Springs could have been more open and willing to help us speed things along if they had wanted to. We are bringing tax revenue and jobs into their City and no expediency is wanted or given. We have been ready to provide services to our clients since February 4th and cannot wait much longer or we will have to close before we can even open.
