I was unaware of this issue until now and as a lifetime member could not be more disappointed or disgusted with management and BOD. Shame a on the cowardice in facing down this behavior!

As a former co-op member who has always hoped/planned to be one again and as a customer who has continued to prioritize open harvest as my only grocery store when I am in Lincoln, I could not in good faith continue to support Open Harvest until the board takes clear and decisive action against empowering this individual and against hate, antisemitism, and white supremacy in the community.

Cancel culture mob is at open harvest, sad.. Disagreeing with someones point of view is not enough to out them of their position. Accepting each individual for who they are is important, but if someone sees the world different they dont have to change to make you feel "safe" and comfortable. Dont let the mob ruin a good store that has always been filled with good people and about local goods, and common ground for individuals.. not politics and beliefs.

I will never shop here unless these reasonable demands are met.

Just started shopping here regularly to avoid shady businesses that exploit their workers. It would be a shame to have to stop just because this co-op won't out a white supremacist from the board. :) It's an easy fix

One of my favorite grocery stores. My business will not resume with open harvest until Ross is removed from the board.

Ross has and continues to manipulate the minds of young people in the community, and does not deserve a position of power due to the danger of his beliefs. I deeply believe in the mission of this business, and will support Open Harvest again when the proper actions have been taken to denounce supremacy and foster inclusivity!

Creating a safe space for *everyone* is your job and responsibility as a trusted establishment of the community.

I'm actually pissed. I shop here ALL THE TIME and I was doing so because I was under the impression that you guys were interested in community building. Ignoring Holocaust deniers and failing to speak out against racism is super destructive and I'm honestly outraged and will not be shopping here in the future unless you guys do a hell of a lot more than just shrugging this off like you've apparently been doing. Good Lord, what an embarrassment.

Anybody that gives hate speeches shouldn’t be a board member.

there were workers’ rights issues going on when i worked at the coop years back, and i bet this isn’t the first racist incident. i say these things with love, and with hope that open harvest does do better!

deeply disappointing. Open Harvest can and should do better.
