Very believable. I was wondering why there are no blacks or Hispanics working there. Yet when there is it's only one which usually never stays employed there very long.SHAME ON THE STAFF THAT HAS LOOKED THE OTHER WAY INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR ANOTHER JOB. THIS SHOWS YOU ARE O.K.WITH WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING. OPEN HARVEST. YOUR STAFF NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST HALF MINORITY.

The beliefs and actions of Ross Brockley are immoral, repugnant, and reprehensible. The Open Harvest Board needs to take quick, decisive action to remove Brockley from co-op membership and leadership positions, and to send a clear message to all members—and the broader Lincoln community—that Open Harvest promotes inclusivity and equity in its ethical framework.

Silencing people for having differing beliefs is not very inclusive or progressive. Labeling people as HOLOCOST DENIERS is just dumb. People should be able to question and discuss things without being labeled. If there is wrong doing or malicious intent then shoe the evidence. Throwing away people who have contributed to the community for their beliefs is just dumb. What have you contributed?. The demands of this petition are dumb and just show its all about politics and putting negative buzzword labels on this guy to gain support for it. Its not inclusive or progressive at all. People should be able to think different and see the world different and be able to interact with each other. Getting rid of people you disagree with changes nothing.. You can do it, but you cant act like youre inclusive or progressive. You want a safe space where no one can disagree with you and your beliefs

As a community member and frequent shopper at Open Harvest, I find this to be particularly disheartening. Even more disheartening are the people in the comments for this petition who have chosen to support hateful ideologies as "dialogue" and just a differing worldview. How virtuous. This is not about one person. This is about the inaction of Open Harvest when members tried to address this internally and were brushed off. Now it's public and I think patrons and member owners have a right to be heard and for their disappointment in Open Harvest's impotence as well as their disdain for Brockley's "differing beliefs" (see also: HOLOCAUST DENIAL) to be on full display. As for Open Harvest: do better. It's one thing to tout yourself as a progressive, inclusive, community-driven co-op but now is your time to actually walk that walk. Do the right thing.

Our family has patronized this business for the past ten years. Until action is taken, we do not feel comfortable supporting a business that will not protect its customers.

My family shopped at Open Harvest for at least the nearly thirty years I’ve been alive, and I’ve been shopping there with my child as well. We had many important discussions prompted by items, people, and interactions at the store. Now, a new item to add to our conversation list, how white supremacy has been allowed to cause pain and suffering in a place we often visit. Quick and hard action must be taken. Allowing and protecting white supremacy in a space that should by all means be safe for all people is beyond abhorrent. My family and I will not be returning until there is tangible change.

As a cooperative of like minded individuals/owner investors striving for the success of our community and the coop we cannot enable or foster an environment that threatens employees of patrons.

Funny how their demands are to acknowledge that black lives matter. The people running this petition are stretching far and wide. Getting rid of him for his beliefs just shows this isnt an inclusive community, but an echo chamber of political attitudes. People should be able to have dialogue and not get burned at the stake for having differing beliefs.. if there is evidence of wrong doing then let's see it. This is a community for local food. This guy is a local farmer, who has contributed to the community. Getting rid of him because of beliefs is petty and shows this community pushes people away for their way of seeing the world. That is not compassionate or inclusive at all.

This has to be a hoax! Ross is one of the kindest, most generous persons I know. He’d give the clothes off his own back to anyone in need. He is not a white supremacist and it’s is horrible to accuse him of being so.

As a 14 year customer. I want to know what will be done about what has happened vs the situation being brushed off. I am concerned and not o.k with this. I will not return as a customer until the matter is resolved and explained as to why nothing was done. I hope that any other nonprofits in town associated with this hate person will dissociate and take a stand to show they too are not o.k. with this type of thing. I will be waiting and watching.

Take a stand against white supremacy! It’s extremely dangerous to say it’s not actionable. I shop here often and have shopped here for over a decade but will be stopping until I hear action is taken.
