Open Harvest Member Owners for Justice

I will continue to shop at OH as it serves our community in many ways, they need to step up during this time. Many who signed were confused, Ross is not a current board member.

Open Harvest needs to be accountable for the members they employ and who is on the board. Brockley is a thread to the community and it NEEDS to be addressed for the safety of others!

Renounce this man, antisemitism, and white supremacy.

OH- you are an important part of the Lincoln community and I hope you will resolve this situation and create a better place for your staff and customers. Please take this seriously.

This is deeply disturbing and if not appropriately handled by the organization I will certainly no longer be a member or support with my business

This is sad, I liked Open Harvest, and now I’m don’t know if I’ll be supporting this local business anymore.

The Co-op could easily hire Robin Diangelo to lead this training. She offers a two hour diversity seminar for $12,000. This is reasonable, and if the co-op truly cared about the safety of their employees, they would not hesitate to do so. I am angrey right now.

I'm appalled at the fact of knowing there is a white supremacist on your board and your refusal to remove him. That's unacceptable. People of Color nor anyone should shop at Open Harvest until this board member is removed.

Perpetuating racism out of fear to confront it, is accepting and condoning racism.

Very disappointed in this history. I guess I should say thank you for being such a stellar example of white privilege. "Not actionable/"yet not consistent with Open Harvest principles." I had not realized how non responsive you had been to member owners. Open Harvest has long been trading on its 'progressive' legacy, but that is simply not good enough. I encourage these reasonable steps over inaction.

The majority of our staff has been lied to and sheltered from any information pertaining to ross and his actions. Many staff members have brought complaints to managment and the board only to be forced into silence or resignation. There are staff members fighting battles and are commited to change. I will not shop at open harvest if the white supremest, racism and inclusive of all people is not addressed

This is the second time in the last three years the OH board has hidden and protected someone on the board or previously on the board from their bad behavior, and I'm disappointed to be seeing it. Both times. Do better or leave the board. I won't stop shopping at OH, I love the employees and access to products, but this ends to change.

I fear that your Co-op is aspiring to be just another Whole Foods successful organic food market. Please show you stand for something more than profit.
