I am in favor of opening Delco Private Swim Clubs this summer. I have every faith that we can remain safe and heathy according to guidelines and protocols while boosting morale and emotional happiness.

Open the pools Gov. Wolf! Chlorine and sunshine kill the virus. People need the outdoor exercise and recreation. You are putting the pools at risk of permanently closing by delaying their opening, depriving communities, and especially kids, of the enjoyment of their summer, and of the well-being that comes from being outdoors. The curve is flattened. The hospitals are empty. Testing is available. Delco is well able to handle any possible outcomes. You overstep your legal and constitutional authority in dragging your feet in opening the state to the detriment of its citizens and inhabitants, their commerce and happiness. What are you waiting for? Oh yeah, the November election.

Swimming pools are safe according to all sources, including the CDC. As long as open area safety are properly observed, there should be no problem in opening. Pools are opening across the country, PA should be no different.

Because this is a private swim club, I believe that the owner, board and bonded members should have the ability to utilize this space while maintaining the same safety regulations as other privately owned outdoor recreation sights.
