The only way this loses money is if you run it like the rest of the city. Or how the governor runs the state. It’s foolproof.

Does not make much sense to be spending tax payer money to maintain the course while keeping it closed bringing in zero dollars in revenue. Please open the course.

The City is empowered to provide public recreational services. Although I am not a City resident I truly enjoy this golf course and have played there for over 40 years. If greens fees need to increase so be it!

As a tax paying City of Albany resident, I have been irrationally upset about the closure of Cap Hills for months now.
Growing up in the neighborhood on Par Circle, this was the course that piqued my interest in golf and I continue to play here every week at a minimum. A major reason I moved back into the city as an adult was due to the proximity of such a wonderful course only two miles from my door step. I truly believe Cap Hills is one of the nicest and most well kept tracks in the area.
I have a feeling there is something political going on behind the scenes and that is why it remains closed. Someone must be in the Mayor's ear about keeping it a walking/dog park for residents to recreate during the pandemic. I have gone on plenty of runs here the past couple months and it is in wonderful shape. They are still maintaining it which clearly is costing them money. Why not generate some revenue and drive more business to the restaurant? OPEN UP CAP HILLS!

Time to open Cap Hills to city residence who have supported the golf course for many years. If there has been poor management of the golf course, we should blame the department managers who over see the budget and not blame city residents who support the operation of the golf course.

One of the nicest courses in the area so don't fail the golfers and those that patronize the restaurant. Each day that goes by you're losing revenue.

Please open the course. We should remember that there is a restaurant and event venue that is severely impacted by this bad decision made by the mayor.

This closure is non sensical and if we are ONLY talking rates then make what ever change is necessary. Closure is very poor choice. Maybe change rental income to....
I love/need this place
