I find it hard to believe the course doesn’t make money for the city. The place is always crowded. It’s the only course not open in the area. Schenctady opened 6 weeks ago. If they really aren’t making money it’s due to mismanagement.

I do not trust the Mayor. The BS that this course is losing money is nonsense. Show us the financials. This is about politics, pure and simple. Open then damn course!

I play every single week at least once and it is the course i grew up on. Doesnt make sense why it isnt open when ever other course in the capital district is operating. Obviously there are many others that want to play here as well and tee times would more then likely booking up quick, lets get this place going again.

How can every other course in the area be open and not Capital Hills? Unconscionable! You are paying to maintain it already so stop using the budget excuse and bring in revenue to pay for what you are doing already. If you need to raise the greens fees, JUST DO IT and figure out how to make your employees safe if that's your concern, change your system to accommodate for safety and communicate it to the general public.
Capital Hills is the only course I play as I live right around the corner, but you are forcing me to travel and spend money out of the county. Major loss for Albany taxpayers. Very disappointed to say the least.

Capital Hills has lost many rounds of golf over the last few years by over doing golf carts on cart paths only. Loosening these restrictions will increase the number of rounds of golf played.

As a regular golfer at Capital Hills and city resident I think this course should open as soon as possible!
