The course does not have any taxes to pay. No clubhouse. Even if it breaks even it's a benefit to the residents. Sheehan should be ashamed. Never even got traffic pattern fixed at Buckingham and Ormond

I walk Capital Hills every day now that it’s closed and dogs just run wild. Time for it to be a golf course

Myself and a large group of my friends, sometimes 24 guys play every Friday and Sunday. As well as hitting buckets during off days. We love Playing capital hills. Presently we are supporting other golf courses around the area.

I have played and worked at Capital Hills for the majority of my life. The course has become a premiere public facility in the region. It is incredibly disappointing that the city cannot come up with a plan to get golfers on the course. Capital Hills is a cornerstone of the city. Not to mention, golf is also one of the safest activities one can do during this time. Other public facilities are handling the demand of golfers very responsibly. Please open the course, as it is so important to so many in the community.

There probably won’t be too many people at the rally because there all playing golf in Schenectady and Colonie , Altamont just to name a few. All the money that would be coming into Albany is being spent everywhere else. Our group alone plays two to three times a week. We have between 16 and 20 players each day and then we spend in Martel’s restaurant. All I can say is this is a major fail by our mayor.

Capitol Hills should be for Golfers. Walkers and Dogs should use the river walk. Isn’t why they built it.
