Abolition of Ontario's Front License Plate

Great idea!

Front plates should be abolished... I can provide statistics on how many new vehicles get sold every year, and that number isnt shrinking. http://www.desrosiers.ca/pdfs/sales.pdf . This is a snap shot of the current april 2014 compared with the 2013 sales. This is just new cars, imagine how many used cars get sold and that is also a big market. Ontario should reduce wastage of creating two of each plate as the money being allocated to plates can be used elsewhere to better use.

There no longer is a need for front plates.

cars look nicer without front plates, its just giving the government something that people can buy so they make money

I own a Ferrari 458 no front plate just gives the cop[s an other reason to pull me over why is ok for out of province or state to have no front plate? what is the purpose

With so many other provinces and US states that do not require a front licence plate, why is Ontario still in the dark ages with regards to this issue. The front plate creates more air resistance and therefore causes more fuel consumption and it is visually displeasing on a car. Please abolish the front licence plate in Ontario. Thank-you.

Get rid of it! And while you're at it, get rid of Fantino's much abused "stunt" law and apply it only to street racing, as was intended
