So I wasn't the ONLY ONE! I have been complaining about this absurd and ridiculous signage for over 20 years. Its a disgrace and I was so happy to see the article and know I wasn't alone. We are the birthplace of the Nation and we can't get a ROAD SIGN? I am a proud PHILADELPHIAN and we need to demand respect that we so rightfully deserve and earned! We have to stop and resist this effort to rewrite history and marginalize Philadelphia importance and historic role in our country. We have to set the record straight and it starts with getting accurate SIGNAGE! As the only World Heritage City in the Country I believe that pretty much says it all.

It just makes sense. We are the second largest city from the entire east coast to the mid-west (Chicago).

Truth! I do this drive regularly and think about that all the time. Plus, only *some* of the little signs on the side that show you the number of miles to a city list Philadelphia.
