I honestly agree with you to some extent. But the black lives matter movement doesn't have any official leaders. Also this country is literally led by a horrible person and we still fly our country's flag. Flying the black lives matter flag at our school is showing that our community here supports the black lives in this community. Therefore this petition is invalid. I respect you because you are my elder and you are being really respectful but at the end of the day it's a peaceful flag it's not hurting anyone

TG, I would heartily support your stance that black lives are absolutely equal to white lives, or those of any other color, race, or creed, 100%. The BLM movement itself, however, is led by self-proclaimed Marxists and not a single one of them is standing up to speak out against the devastating and relentless attacks on black neighborhoods, communities, families, and business owners. Not one. By not condemning the destruction, they are condoning it. I can't perhaps ever live your life, nor could you live mine, and I'm not arguing that one is more valuable than the other. What this petition is saying is that a school is not the place for this flag/banner/symbol, nor is it the place for even an "All Lives Matter" flag. No group is discriminated against when we fly our nation's flag and our state's flag; in fact, the point is that we are all Americans and all Vermonters and we can and should all be on the same team and working together to support and listen to each other, and to appreciate each other's struggles with respect.

Only our countries flag should be raised ! The American flag stands for way more than just BLM and people forget that it wasn’t just whites who served in war .
