One More Hour

900 is an important part of the community and I am in full support of extending its hours. I have been a resident of Manhattan Beach for 12 years and a member for over 6 years. 900 should be on the same competitive level as the other bars and restaurants in Manhattan Beach.

It seems that the hours of operation for all similar establishments should be the same. 900 club being no exception. Fair is fair.

One extra hour per week should not be too much to ask for a small business that’s been part of the community for 20 years.

Being a Member of 900 Manhattan Ave. is my extended family, Great local Manhattan Beach people. As a resident, voter and taxpayer of Manhattan Beach I support the extra hour.

900 is a fixture in our community and welcoming to families, as well. It should be allowed to operate with the same hours as all other establishments in our town.

I've been a South Bay resident since 2003 and a 900 Member since 2008. Fair hours for all MB bars and restaurants is the right thing to do, for 900 business and their employees.

Please allow us to spend an extra hour in the comfort and relative serenity of our club. The other bars in MB are a lot less attractive at that time of night. Thank you.

I support the 900 Club's petition for one extra hour of service on Thursdays.

Dave and his staff have always provided a safe environment for members and guests since I joined 15 years ago. As a resident and local business owner, I support the additional operating hour proposal.

I've been a member for 5 of years and lived on 9th Street just up the block for 13 years and have only known 900 Manhattan Ave to be a terrific neighbor.

Great place, family friendly. Give long time employees a level playing field with other servers and bartenders in the city

As a member of 900 club and a long-time resident of South Bay I really appreciate the consideration of extending the hours by 1 more hour on Thursday, which will also be consistent with the operation hours of the other bars/restaurants in the near vicinity. thank you!

Let’s even the playing field with the similar establishments It used to be 1am

An additional hour seems reasonable for an establishment that caters to primarily a over 40 year old clientele. Compare the night time age demographic of Shellback, Sharks Cove, Hennessey's and Ercole's. All of which have a much younger, louder and more raucous demographic, and are open until 2 am. All of the aforementioned establishments are within a 2 block radius of each other and are within the "Downtown Area". Fairness should dictate in this instance.

900 is an important part of this beach community and should be allowed to extend their operating hours on par with the other establishments in the area.

900 has always been a partner in the community, the same if not more so than many of the other bars and social gathering places in MB.
